Index Backend Verification (Isolated)

Summary

The previously reported isolated index-backend write failure is not reproducing on current builds.

Verified on 2026-02-08 with a fresh store root:

POST /v2/graph/nodes (node 1): HTTP 200
POST /v2/graph/nodes (node 2): HTTP 200
POST /v2/graph/edges (edge doc->topic): HTTP 200
Control run on --store-backend fs: same sequence HTTP 200
./scripts/smoke_v2.sh on index: PASS
./tests/integration_v2.sh on index: PASS

Re-Verification Procedure

1) Start index backend (isolated root + socket)
